Diamond Jubilee Celebrations for Sr Elizabeth of the Trinity

Yesterday, 17th March 2022, we celebrated the Diamond Jubilee of Sr. Elizabeth of the Trinity, former Prioress of our Carmel, who entered on her 17th birthday and has been a valued member of the community ever since.

We were pleased to welcome Bishop David Oakley as chief celebrant of the Mass, in which Sister renewed her vows, along with two previous chaplains of the monastery.

Diamond Jubilee Cake Made by a Good Friend of the Community

It was lovely that nineteen members of her family, from as far afield as Canada, could also be there to share her special day.
