Today, the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord in the Temple, is a day shining with light, like the candles which were blessed and lit at Mass this morning. They give this feast day its other name - Candlemas - and represent our carrying the light of Christ to the world.
The 2nd February is also the Church's World Day of Prayer for those in the Consecrated Life. Please pray for our Carmelite community in Wolverhampton and all who have given themselves wholly to God in the Religious Life, as well as for many new vocations. Thank you.
